Responsibilities: - Manages the pre-marketing, marketing and sale of bank-owned and investor Real Estate Owned (REO) assets. - Manages the eviction, redemption, ratification, confirmation process of individual portfolios; works closely with the attorneys to ensure procedures are done in a timely and legal manner. - Oversees a defined geographic territory. - Utilizes a number of system and analytic tools to identify market trends and makes pricing recommendations to management. - Oversees REO related expenses for properties being managed. - Initiates direct contact with borrowers - Participates in loss prevention by employing advanced strategies that provide adequate protection for the Bank with respect to its interest in the collateral securing the loan, while maximizing the cost containment opportunities. - Reviews collateral condition and establish asset value. - Negotiates sale with prospective buyers and conclude sales transaction with limited oversight. - Developed a thorough understanding of the business and its functions, processes and operations. - Kept abreast of business and market trends that may affect business. - Performs other related assignments / projects as requested by management
